September 2009 is just around the corner!!

... I know, I know. It has been a while since I last blogged. I am back up and running though, so I will be writing more often and keeping you in the loop on all the exciting things that will soon come!

Lance has his 4th Annual Jock N Bowl event coming up on September 21 so a lot has been taking place on the back scene. We are excited to say the lanes have been sold out for months now and we are ready to get things going! The whole Briggs' team will be in town, along with his closest friends to celebrate, Kirk's birthday, Lance's game against the STEELERS, and the Jock N Bowl event!! If you haven't done so already, check out lancebriggs.com. You will be able to share the experience of all his community offerings and how his foundation is growing daily. Nothing feels better than giving back to the fans and children who have supported Lance throughout the years.

Look out for the pictures from the Jock N Bowl at the end of September!! Also check out the pictures from Lance's football camp in Sacramento, CA from back in June. It was a great turn out and all the kids learned valuable skills that they are now implementing into their games!

January is passing by so quickly!!

Wow, it feels like just yesterday I was toasting to the new year! Now we are wrapping up January and February will be a nonstop month for me!! I am just getting over being sick (hopefully) and starting to prepare myself for Hawaii!! Luckily being sick was a great weight loss and I don't have to exercise as much :-) lol. I am bringing my father with me to the Pro Bowl and I think he is more excited than me, and Im stoked!! I am glad I was able to give him something that he could not give himself, the experience. He will have the opportunity to hang out with the Pro guys and experience the life they live, even if it is only for a week. He has given me everything he can, and I am thankful to be so blessed, and able to share my blessings with him. Lance is a wonderful man who takes care of everyone, his team, without a hesitation.

One more week and then I am up up and away!! Ill give details when I return. Until then.... Blessings to everyone!

PS. Pray for my nephew... and Lacy, give him a BIG kiss for me!! He will be expecting a package in the mail VERY soon :-)

Update... 2009!!

Hey Guys!! (I should say 'lady' because my sister is probably the only one reading this blog)

I had a conversation with my sister yesterday and she scolded me (not really, but kindof) about not updating my blog with all the different events going on in my life. For the moment, I have to edit certain things, but come March, I will tell all :-) !!

So back in October I started working for a talented, motivated, successful, and kindhearted man! I am blessed! His name is Lance Briggs and he plays for the Chicago Bears (I am sure he does not need any introduction). He has been picked for Pro Bowl 4 years in a row and this year he is the ONLY Chicago Bear that was picked to be a started for the 2009 Pro Bowl. Guess what?! Because of all my hard work and dedication to making his life easier, he invited me to attend the Pro Bowl and experience a once in a lifetime event!! This is the last year the Pro Bowl will be in Hawaii so it makes it that much more exciting!!

I am still currently working as an education advisor in dentistry and traveling a little for that too. My next big trip after Hawaii will be with this company and we will be holding a seminar in Orlando, FL. I will only have one day to recover from Hawaii and then get back onto a plane to Orlando the following day... That means I have A LOT of packing to do!! Luckily I still make it home from my Orlando trip Saturday night, which allows me to be back in PHX for All Star weekend!

So yes, Lacy, a lot has changed and I should be writing at least once a week so I don't have to be so vague with my letters. haha. But at least you found out the micro details of what more is to come!!

Off to Toronto...

I am pretty much exhausted from traveling! (You will hardly ever hear me say that since I LOVE to travel) In the last 3 months I have traveled to Washington, DC., Seattle, WA., Santa Barbara, Yuma and Tucson. I was nominated (last minute) to travel to Toronoto, ON for work, so I leave Thursday and come home Sunday morning. I then get to spend the entire second half of my Sunday in meetings and dinner with co-workers. "Bonding" Time :-) haha. My next trip is OCt 1st-5th to Boston which I am very excited about! (work seminar but a beautiful town). I am spendint an extra day out there to see the city! Then I am back to Cali to visit my father for his 50th B-Day!

I guess it is good that I keep busy but I sure can't wait to have a little "Brittany" time.... I miss my family :-(
